Sinopse: Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub) já foi um bem sucedido detetive da polícia de São Francisco, e se tornou uma lenda por seus métodos incomuns para solucionar os mais complicados casos do departamento.

Sua condição acabou lhe custando o seu trabalho, e continua sendo um desafio em sua vida diária.
